HAEMOSTATIC-ANTIHAEMORRHAGIC
PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF HAEMORRHAGES

COMPOSITION :

Each ml injection contains	125 mg Ethamsylate
Each tablet contains	500 mg Ethamsylate

ACTION MECHANISM :

DICYNONE acts on the vascular phase of haemostatic by:

• Restoring disturbed platelets adhesiveness.
• Restoring the endo-endothelial film of fibrin.
• Inhibits the synthesis of Prostacyclin as an antihaemostatic.
• Thus restoring reduced capillary resistance which explains its remarkable on effuse haemorrhages.

Furthermore, DICYNONE accelerates normal coagulation processes (thromboplastin formation) at temperatures below 37°C, and is not thrombogenic in blood circulation.

TOLERANCE:

• Toxicity-Nil.
• No side effects and in particular no risk on thrombosis.
• DICYNONE may be given during anti-coagulant treatment.
• DICYNONE may be administered to pregnant woman.

DOSAGE:

• IN SURGERY ( GENERAL AND SPECIALIZED SURGERY)Pre-operatively :For 2 or 3 days proceeding operation: 3 tablets per day in three doses. One hour before operation 2 ampoules I.V. or I.M.
  
  Per-operatively: I.M. or I.V. when required or 4 ampoules the infusion bottle.
  In case of emergency, for quick effect 2 ampoules I.V. and 2 ampoules I.M.
  Post-operatively: For 4 days after the operation. 2 ampoules I.V. or I.M. morning and evening, or 3 tablet divided in three doses during the day.
  CHILDREN : HALF OF THE ADULT DOSE
• MEDICINE (GENERAL AND SPECIALIZED MEDICINE)For treatment or prophylaxis of capillary haemorrhages of all origins (gastric, intestinal, gynaecologic ........................ etc) ecchymosis, purpura, hematoma.
  
  Emergencies: 2 ampoules 3 times daily I.V. or I.M.
  Preventive and consolidation treatment: 3 tablets daily divided in three doses.
  CHILDREN : HALF OF THE ADULT DOSE

NOTE:
Injectable ampoules may also be orally diluted in hatf glass of water.

PENCEGAHAN DAN PENGOBATAN PERDARAHAN

KOMPOSISI:

Tiap ml larutan Dicynone injeksi mengandung	125 mg Etamsilat
Tiap tablet Dicynone mengandung	500 mg Etamsilat

MEKANISME KERJA :
DICYNONE bekerja pada fase vaskuler dari hemostasis dengan cara:

• Memulihkan daya lekat dari platelet yang terganggu.
• Memulihkan lapisan endo endothelium dari fibrin.
• Menghambat sintesa Prostasiklin yang merupakan antihemostatik.
• Dengan demikian memulihkan resistensi kapiler yang berkurang. Hal ini yang menjelaskan cara kena Dicynone yang nyata pada perdarahan.

Selain itu, DICYNONE mempercepat proses normal dan pembekuan (pembentukan tromboplastin) pada temperatur di bawah 37°C, dan tidak menyebabkan trombosis dalam aliran darah.

TOLERANSI:

• Toksisitas tidak ada.
• Tidak ada efek samping dan khususnya tidak ada resiko terjadinya trombosis.
• DICYNONE dapat diberikan bersamaan dengan pengobatan anti koagulansia.
• DICYNONE dapat dibenkan pada wanita hamil.

DOSIS:

• DALAM PEMBEDAHAN (BEDAH UMUM DAN BEDAH KHUSUS)
  Sebelum operasi: Selama 2 atau 3 hari sebelum operasi : 3 x 1 tablet sehari.
  Satu jam sebelum operasi: 2 ampul I.V. atau I.M.
  Selama operasi: I.M atau I.V. bila diperlukan, atau 4 ampul dalam cairan infus.
  Dalam keadaan darurat, untuk efek yang segera, 2 ampul I.V. dan 2 ampul I.M.
  Sesudah operasi: Selama 4 hari sesudah operasi, 2 ampul I.V atau I.M. pagi dan petang, atau 3 tablet sehari dibagi dalam 3 dosis.
  UNTUK ANAK-ANAK ½ DOSIS ORANG DEWASA
• DALAM KEDOKTERAN UMUM DAN BIDANG KEAHUAN LAINNYA
  Untuk pengobatan atau pencegahan semua perdarahan kapiler (pada lambung, usus, kebidanan.....dsb.) ecchymosis, purpura, hematoma.
  Keadaan darurat: 3 x 2 ampul sehari I.V. atau I.M.
  Pencegahan dan terapi konsolidasi: 3 x 1 tablet sehari.
  UNTUK ANAK-ANAK ½ DOSIS ORANG DEWASA

CATATAN :
Larutan dalam ampul dapat juga diminum setelah lebih dahulu diencerkan dalam setengah gelas air.
